The essentials

You choose the information you share. App applications follow your recorded sharing choices. This local website’s enquiry forms do not submit your details.

01

About this policy

Gradfee connects students and bankers around study abroad education-loan applications. This page explains information used in those workflows and how the current Gradfee website treats information.

Individual banks and lending institutions are responsible for their own privacy practices and lending records. Review their policies before sharing information or accepting an offer.

About this website preview

The landing-page enquiry form is a local preview. Information entered into it stays in the current page session and is not sent to Gradfee, a bank or a third party. It is cleared when the form is closed or the page is reloaded.

02

Information used by Gradfee

Depending on your role and the features you use, the app processes:

  • Account information: your name, email, mobile number, login credentials and student or banker role.
  • Profile and education details: personal details you supply, profile photo, university, course, destination, admission status and study plans.
  • Funding and application information: requested loan amount, cost breakdowns, co-applicant details, collateral declarations and the banks you choose.
  • Documents: files you choose to upload, such as admission letters, fee structures, academic records and supporting documents.
  • Application activity: bank cases, loan offers, document requests, recorded payment references, progress updates and your application-related choices.
  • Support and preferences: messages you submit, privacy and sharing choices, and appearance preferences.

Do not upload someone else’s personal information without the authority to share it. A self-declared identity detail or saved document does not mean it has been independently verified.

03

How information is used

Information supports the features you request: creating and protecting your account, preparing applications, organising documents, connecting with selected banks, reviewing offers, recording progress and responding to support requests when support is available.

Application and consent records help preserve the choices made at submission. Updating your profile later does not automatically alter details already submitted to a bank.

Credit enquiries, identity checks and external transfers require connected providers and any applicable consent. Entering your details or using this website’s calculator does not initiate any of those activities.

04

Application sharing

The app records sharing permission when a student submits an application to selected banks. Authorised bankers access information within their assigned bank and application workflow.

Your bank may request additional documents, review information and provide its own offer. Banks may retain information received by them under their own obligations and policies.

Production service-provider arrangements and any legally required disclosures must be included in the published policy when the live service is configured. This local website does not send enquiry information to lenders or external providers.

05

Website cookies & preferences

This website currently uses no advertising cookies, analytics trackers or persistent browser storage for enquiry forms. Fonts and the campus image are served from the website’s own files.

The calculator works in your browser. Its selected values are not sent as a loan application, and the result is an estimate rather than a lender’s offer.

Requests needed to load the website necessarily include ordinary connection information, such as the requested URL and network address. Hosting and logging practices should be reviewed and documented when the site is deployed.

06

Your privacy choices

You can review your app profile and, where available, update personal details or your profile photo. Students can review application-related choices under Profile → Privacy & consents.

For a data correction or a question about recorded consent, create a support request identifying the relevant application. Consent records tied to an application may need to remain as a record of the choices made at the time.

You can request removal of your Gradfee account and its associated data. See the account-deletion page for the steps and deletion scope.

07

Retention & account deletion

The connected app keeps information required for your account and application workflows until it is removed through the relevant controls or account-deletion process.

Student account deletion removes the student’s profile, support requests, applications, drafts and owned uploaded documents from the connected Gradfee workspace. Banker account deletion removes the banker’s personal account and profile; shared bank applications and student records remain.

The current deletion process retains a minimal account identifier used to prevent deleted data from being recreated by delayed requests. It does not retain your full profile for that purpose.

Deleting a Gradfee account does not cancel a loan or delete records independently held by a bank. Production backup retention, legally required retention and deletion timeframes need to be specified before the live policy is published.

08

Protecting your account

Use a strong password and keep your sign-in details private. The connected app restricts access by account, role and bank assignment and requires password confirmation for account deletion.

Only upload documents needed for your application. Do not include full identity or bank account numbers in general support messages. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact Gradfee.

09
